The changes to the prescribing of over-the-counter medicines

Banes CCG has formally decided that over-the-count

er medicines will no longer be prescribed on prescription and advise people to use local chemists as a mean of source. 

It is estimated that doing this could release around £618,000 a year for Banes CCG to reinvest in other services.
